A couple weeks ago in San Francisco, we met one of the founders of a new user friendly program called Planwise that enables consumers to take control of their finances. We have been tooling around on the beta version and just yesterday Planwise released their full version.
The program allows people to plug in their financial info and determine if, for example, a family purchases a home will they be able to afford to buy a near car next year. Or will a student paying student loans be able to afford to charge a trip to Europe on his or her credit card?
Planwise enables and empowers people so that they can they make educated and informed decisions about their future. The program works best when the decisions involve a credit product.
Best of all, the Planwise offers the program free to consumers. Additionally, users can be anonymous. No need to input a social security number, banking information, telephone number – they don’t even require a name. Users only need an email address to get started.
We like this program a lot and with people struggling to get hold of their finances, this program gives them the ability to just do it.
